How do I get around?

Uber is currently unavailable in Morocco.

For getting around Fes, it is recommended to drive.

Ride-hailing Apps available in Fes:

  • inDrive: Propose your fare for a ride

  • Roby: Partnered with taxis, it provides upfront pricing.

  • Heetch: Similar to Roby, but provides real-time tracking and ability to share ride details with friends or family.

Should you choose to get a traditional taxi (petit taxi), be aware that meters can be “broken”. Agree on an upfront price and ALWAYS negotiate the best price. Feel free to charter a grand taxi for private use, or book with a company.

If you’d like to visit other cities in Morocco, it is recommended to book a train. Please visit ONCF.ma, or you can buy them at the station. Book first-class for space and air conditioning.
